PUT ON THE SHOES
criticism,
ridicule,
put-downs,
rude comments,
sarcastic remarks,
the joke of every dae,
the laughinstock of the grade.
embarrassed,
degraded,
disgraced,
humiliated mistreated,
misunderstood,
she is thought of as 2th class,
N no gd.
a loner,
an outcast,
an outsider,
left out,
they laugh at her.
they snicker bhind her back.
she is defenseless,
under verbal attack.
Y can't they C
tat she is the same as you N mi?
is it cos' they misunderstand,
the problem at hand?
how would they feel,
to be left out N mistreated?
how would you feel,
to be laughed at?
Y can't they C her for hu she is,
instead of hu she is nt?
if they could only put themselves in their shoes,
den they might stop.

YOU DON'T KNOW ME
i know all of ur thoughts
N trust me,they R lies.
u can't make assumptions;
u've never looked in my eyes.
tere is nt an ounce of truth
in any word u say.
ur lips hav never spoken to me;
u baraly ever look my way.
how can u believe
watever flows in ur ears?
u sure don't know me,
N neither do ur peers.
i seriously don't know wat u gain
from spreadin all tese rumors.
u may think it's fun,
bt i don't see the humor.
can u C where i'm comin from?
i really hope u do.
u're tryin to gain self-esteem
wen people do the same thing to u.
ur vague perception of me
is worthless to my ears.
u hav no idea hu i am,
so u can't reach my tears.

BT WEN NIGHTTIME FALLS
she hhides her face
wen she's nt alone.
she wears a mask,
bt it's her own.
it's everyone else,
she wan to be.
be just like them,
supposedly free.
free from the troubles,
the troubles of life.
free from the sin
and worries N strife.
bt wen nighttime falls
N she climbs into bed.
her mask falls apart,
N her heart fills with dread.
she screams N she cries,
bt no 1 can hear.
she wans them to know,
know all of her fear.
her fear of facin
a world with no mask.
afraid they won't like her,
afraid they won't ask.
so she waits for the dae
with hope in her heart,
wen she'll wear her own face,
N make her new start.
